As a life coach, I often witness the transformative power of Real Love® in healing deep-seated pain.
While this process can feel uncomfortable, it's essential for true healing.
Love, more than any other force, has the power to heal, even if it means confronting pain along the way.
Join me as I share Lori's experience.
Lori's Journey from Pain to Peace
Lori’s entire life had been punctuated by—no, dominated by—pain, fear, confusion, and anger.
I spent a couple of days with her, and during that time she experienced, in her words, “More peace and calm than I’ve ever known, more than I thought possible.”
She continued to do well for a week after going home, but then she called and said, “I’m feeling afraid again. I don’t understand it.”
Uncovering the Source of Fear
After asking a few questions, it was obvious to me that her fears were not about anything in the present. She was experiencing pain from her past.
Why? Why would that come up a week after her feeling more loved than she ever had?
During our time together, she felt healing of past pain that was lying close to the surface. Then she felt safe enough to allow deeper layers of pain to bubble up for their own healing.
Initially, that volcanic activity felt uncomfortable, but the deeper pain was also healed with exposure and love.
Embracing Healing Despite Discomfort
Real Love® is healing, more than any other power, but sometimes that healing is marked by moments of pain that is disturbed by the activity of the healing.
The healing is worth the pain that sometimes accompanies it.
