The Purpose of Truth Telling

By Greg Baer M.D.

In Real Love we often talk about the importance of telling the truth about ourselves. But some of us get confused and forget the PURPOSE of telling the truth about ourselvesā€”as do the potential wise men attempting to help us tell such truths.

Telling the truth about yourself simply creates opportunities for you to find the love you're looking for. It's LOVE that's the goal, not the truth telling.

There is yet another benefit to telling the truth about ourselves.

As we clearly see what weā€™re doing and feeling, we can see wiser choices ourselves, and we create the opportunity for wise people to help us see better choicesā€”both of which greatly increase the likelihood that we will choose more wisely.

Oh, itā€™s great fun and very productive to tell the truth.
