I couldnāt possibly count the number of times that people have begun to learn the principles of Real Love and then said to me, āThis is so hard.ā
On the contrary, unconditional love is far easier than every other approach to life, which we have thoroughly proven with our own experience for many years.
M.L. Stedman once said, āYou only have to forgive once. To resent, you have to do it all day, every day.ā His implication isāand my experience isāthat being unloving is a lot of work. It takes a lot of energy to be resentful, angry, attacking, critical, victimy, and so on, and the apparent need for these feelings and behaviors is never ending, because the āpositiveā effects are so brief and superficial.
Choose to be trusting and loving. Choose once. Choose now. Itās a way of life that is so much easier than everything else.
