Recently I received the following letter from a woman:
"Several months ago I began to read Real Love books, as many as I could find. I was stunned that such a revolutionary view of life could have been hidden from me all my life. I realized I had never felt unconditionally loved, so I began to participate in conference calls. I wanted even more, so I went to Rome, Georgia for an intervention with Greg. I'll never be the same. It's like being on another planet.
"When I got home, the peace and happiness continued, and I wanted to share it with the people I care about. But I also didn't want to seem like some kind of nut job out to convert the world, so I was nervous when I first went to the home of my best friend, Cheryl. She knew I had gone to Georgia, so naturally she asked me about it. I told her a few of the things I had learned, and how much happier I was. And I said that when I lost my feeling of peace, I could get it again.
"Cheryl asked me where she could learn more. We went to the RealLove.com website and watched a couple of brief 'Top Ten' videos. She asked a lot of questions. Some I could answer, and some I couldn't, so I just explained by using examples from my own experience.
"Before I left, she spontaneously kissed me on the cheek. I don't think that has ever happened to me before. I told her I cared about her, and we talked some more about our friendship. Here I had been nervous, but it was a fantastic experience. Who knows where it will go, but I'm glad I took a chance and talked to her. I'll probably send her a book."
If you want to grow in Real Love and experience greater happiness, there is no better way—none—than to share with others your joy and what you're learning. There's always a risk that your attempts won't be accepted. So what? Move on to the next person and create the opportunities that will transform your life—and possibly theirs as well.
