1. I have people in my life who love me unconditionally.
There are people—it matters not how many—who genuinely care whether I’m happy. They reach out to me with understanding and support. I matter to them. If I’m happy, they smile with me. If sad, they gently touch me and talk to me. It’s comforting and exhilarating.
2. I TRUST the love of the people who love me.
I CHOOSE to feel the love of others. Without that trust, no amount of love would make any difference. I allow love to wash over and through me.
3. God loves me unconditionally.
The ultimate proof of God’s love is that other people love me. They could not do that without some influence from an infinite and Divine source.
4. I TRUST the love of God.
I don’t require daily proof that God loves me. I choose right now—and for all time—to believe it, and with that choice I feel His love for me every moment of the day.
5. I am GRATEFUL for the love I have.
Gratitude is simply being fully aware of the goodness in my life—recognizing the magnitude of what I have. I am grateful for the love I receive, and with that feeling the love seems to grow—to seep ever deeper into my soul.
6. I am not alone
With a gratitude for the love of others and the love of God, it is impossible for me to feel alone. I smile deeply as I feel surrounded by the presence of so many, freed from the unbearable pain of the life-sucking lie that I am alone in the world.
7. I have everything I’ll ever really need.
With love I have the greatest imaginable treasure. I have the gift that most people search for in vain all their lives. When people lie to me, inconvenience me, and disapprove of me, I still have the love of those who truly understand and accept me. No insult can take from me this treasure.
8. I have nothing to fear.
With everything I’ll ever need, why would I ever be afraid? You can be unkind to me. You can steal from me and even injure my body, but the ultimate effect is that you withhold only YOUR love from me. You can’t take from me the love I have—my greatest treasure. So you can’t really hurt me, and I have nothing to fear. Love gives me a true sense of invincibility that comforts me always.
9. I am GRATEFUL.
Gratitude again. I simply cannot be grateful and unhappy at the same time.
10. I share the love and joy in my life with others.
As I share with others the love I have received and the joy I experience, I align myself with the love that flows through and connects everything in the universe. And I am at peace. My happiness is boundless.
